The company has formulated relevant supplier management policies in accordance with regulations and laws to ensure that the quality and quality systems of products provide ed by suppliers meet the requirements 。 Through close cooperation, the company maintains the stability of the long-term supply chain.

Local procurement

PDC actively implements a localized procurement policy. In 2022 the proportion of procurement expenses from Taiwanese suppliers in the Taiwan region was 66% ; The proportion of procurement expenses from mainland China suppliers was 95% for Suzhou plant and 99% for Shenzhen plant.

Supplier Performance

PDC in accordance with the requirements of the ”supplier selection and management process “, to selects, evaluates, and manages raw material suppliers based on environmental and social standards as guidelines. For already onboarded key raw material suppliers, assessment cycles are determined based on their risk levels, ranging from 1 to 3 years. This is done to promote awareness and continuous improvement, in pursuit of sustainable business operation and growth.

Response to Conflict Minerals

PDC verifies through assessment documents that materials in its supply chain, such as Gold (Au), Tantalum (Ta), Tungsten (W), Tin (Sn), Cobalt (Co), and Mica, are not sourced from conflict areas within the Democratic Republic of Congo through illicit activities or by non-state armed groups. The company ensures that its mineral and metal sourcing is from legitimate sources, thereby adhering to responsible procurement practices.

Focus on Labor Rights of Suppliers and Contractors

In PDC’s supplier selection and management process, it is explicitly stated that suppliers and contractors must adhere to labor rights regulations as outlined in the Labor Standards Act. This includes matters such as the prohibition of child labor and forced labor. During supplier selection, all suppliers and contractors are required to sign the “ Honesty and Integrity Guarantee Letter” and” NON-DISCLOSURE WARRANTY “ and to abide by the “Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct”. Environmental safety and compliance with the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct are also key audit criteria during supplier assessments.
